"It's good to live it again"

A little over a year ago I posted photos of autumn in New York - more specifically Central Park - that I took on Thanksgiving weekend 2010.

Now just this past Thanksgiving I returned to Central Park with my camera, for another taste of my favorite season in one of the loveliest places I know of.

Oh, you've captured the day and the place so beautifully. There's something special about the late fall landscape that your photos depict so well. I understand the need to go to a special place on Thanksgiving. I usually visit my favorite beach to remember Thanksgivings long ago when my father was alive and he would take us there.

Thanks for your thoughtful comment over at my place this week. I think you and I are on exactly the same page about the holidays. Wishing you a beautiful and peaceful season. xo Gigi

how lovely! I like the colors and the leaf one is so nice, it should be a postcard.
Last time I went to Central Park was on a date with hubby :) We always talk about going back, but never make it there.
