Magic. There's something about Bethesda Fountain than makes me cry every time I see it — as soon as I hit the terrace stairs I'm weeping, especially if someone is playing violin within earshot...

You got it, John :)

I get where you're coming from. When I do visit, I feel like it's not a place I can just hurry through. I want to linger for a while. And the violins, yes - there weren't any this time, but I remember one visit with a quartet of Juilliard students on a summer day. Beautiful.

How wonderful to have been there at just the right time to capture these happy moments.
